Tech Summit 2018 to Take Place in Cork City Hall

Cork City Hall is to be play host to the seventh instalment of Tech Summit on May 3rd. The event is hosted by it@cork, which represents over 200 companies in the ICT sector in the Cork region, and will see delegates from around the country and the world attending to listen to speakers and view new technologies firsthand.

Speakers for the event include Dr. Patrick Kramer, Chief Cyborg Officer and Bio-Hacker at VivoKey, Berni Good, Cyberpsychologist, and John Hurley, Chief Technology Officer, Ryanair. The event is being lead by Gillian Bergin, Director of Operations & Program Management, Dell EMC Ireland Centre of Excellence, and Denis Canty, Sr Director of Automation/AI Software Labs at McKesson.

The themes of this year’s event are Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Tech, Futures Psychology, and Digital Health and Augmented Humans. Speaking at the launch, Gillian Bergin, Co-Chair of Tech Summit said: “The rate at which future tech is transforming our lives is extraordinary.
