Kilkenny Cleaning Company Experiences Surge in Custom

A cleaning company based in the south-east has seen a 15 per cent increase in contract cleaning for businesses over the past six months. On top of this, it has also experienced a significant surge in demand for home cleaning services.

Headquartered in Kilkenny, McCreery Contract Cleaning currently employs a team of 65, having created 10 new positions in the past six months.

Due to increasing demand, the company have recently added new services including ironing, gardening, and a recommended network of professional service providers, such as electricians and plumbers. They only use environmentally friendly products safe for children, pets and people with allergies.

McCreery Contract Cleaning provides a range of professional cleaning services to over 80 domestic and corporate customers across the South-East, including offices, schools, restaurants, banks, clinics, hospitals and hotels. Staff are Garda-vetted and fully trained to the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) standards. The company is the only accredited provider of this training in the south-east.

Commenting on the surge in business, Jennifer McCreery, founder of McCreery Contract Cleaning, said: “Business from companies and private homes has increased substantially in the past year. Our home cleaning division was completely booked this Christmas and bookings are very strong for the traditional ‘spring clean’ in January and February.”
