Fintech Innovation Jam Takes Place in Dublin

An event to showcase demos of financial services software to financial institutions has taken place in Dublin. The Temenos Innovation Jam Dublin saw thirteen fintechs, including nine Irish, presenting their solutions to a range of financial services leaders, with Pushfor and Irish tech company Xtremepush selected to go forward to the global final of the series in May 2018.

This is the third year in which Temenos, a banking software vendor, has run the series. The competition sees start-ups compete at regional heats, called Jams, where they pitch their company in front of 100s of senior bankers. The winner from each Jam then travels to the final, held at the Temenos Community Forum – which this year will be in Dublin on 22-24 May – to compete to become the global Innovation Jam winner. This year, the Jams will be held in seven cities around the world, up from five in 2017. The Jams are taking place in Dublin, Miami, Hong Kong, Amsterdam, London, Abu Dhabi and Geneva.
